Summer/Holiday  Info - please note*
When leaving your apartment for an extended time, please be sure to leave your AC turned on and set to at least 85 degrees. (this will prevent mold and mildew buildup). Do not adjust your refrigerator or hot water heater settings. Please remove all perishables from cabinets before you leave.

Swimming Pool News and Rules
The Chateau Apartments pool is officially open. Please come and enjoy. The pool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Sunday until Memorial Day weekend, and then it will stay open until 9:00 p.m.   
  • Please observe all pool rules:
  • No more than two (2) guests per resident
  • No glass at pool under any circumstances
  • No running or horseplay
  • No Marco Polo
  • No Cut-off jeans
  • No Diving
  • No throwing rocks or coins in pool for diving retrieval
  • Please use ashtrays and dump when leaving pool area
  • All guests must be with residents
  • All children under age of two must wear “swimming diapers” as well as bathing suits
  • Please remove all band-aids, metal hairpins
  • Please recycle all aluminum cans in appropriate trashcans
Picnic and Grilling Areas
  • The Chateau Apartments has four picnic and grilling areas for your use. They are located at:
    Pool area near the 300 Building (2 Grills and Table under the Poplar tree)
  • 2 areas in the wooded area by the 400 Building
  • Gazebo (4 grills and 2 tables)
  • Trash receptacles are located at all sites. We thank you for cleaning up before leaving.
The Chateau Apartments is one of the safest complexes in Carrboro (The Daily Tarheel)
Pet News
To All Pet Owners:
The management spends a great deal of time and money to continually improve the natural beauty of the grounds and landscape. We ask that you please pick up after your pet, and not allow your pet to use the landscape beds to walk in. To assist you, we have installed a dog waste receptacle, including pick up bags, by the recycling bins at the 600 Building. Please be considerate of your neighbors and our landscaping staff.

Dog Wash
Do not forget…The Chateau Apartments offers our residents the use of a dog wash area located between the Lower Laundry and Gazebo. The water is heated for your dog’s comfort.

Resident Referral Fee
Refer your friends, family, co-workers to The Chateau Apartments. You will be issued a $100 Credit toward your next month's rent for each of your referrals who sign a lease. Please help us build a great community full of Good Neighbors. Be sure your referrals mention you when they apply.

- Sending faxes office hours 8:30am-5:30pm.
